Building a Business is Hard, But You Don’t Have to Do it Alone.
I sat in my garage in February 2019 staring at my laptop. I had just left a high-paying management job at Mercedes-Benz. I had this “brilliant” idea but hadn’t worked out all the details. Google wasn’t helping. Every article contradicted the last one. Everyone else seemed to have it all figured out. The truth is they didn’t.
But I felt alone. Like I was the only one struggling. That’s what nobody talks about when you’re building a business. How lonely it gets. How many questions pile up with no answers. How do I get customers? What if this fails? Am i doing this right? I eventually figured it out. But it took way longer than it should have.
I made every mistake you can make. I wasted money on stuff that didn’t matter. I spent months building something nobody wanted. But I also learned what actually works. Not theory. Not what some guru says. What REALLY works when you’re building something from scratch.
Now I help mid-career professionals skip the wasted years. The part where you figure it out alone. Whether you’re just starting or stuck on a plateau, I can probably help. Together we’ll build something that actually makes money.

I used to run sales teams for Mercedes-Benz. I spent my days convincing people who could afford a $90,000 car that they needed the $120,000 version instead. I was good at it, I made decent money, and who doesn’t like fast cars? But I didn’t own the company.
So I quit and started my own business. Then another one. Then another one. Some worked. Some didn’t. I lost money. I learned a LOT about what actually works when you don’t have a massive marketing budget or a team of 50 people.
When COVID hit I spent part of my time teaching entrepreneurial strategy as a business professor at the university level. Which was cool… except I kept seeing my students make the same mistakes I made when I first started out. They’d over complicate things and get stuck in analysis paralysis until I showed them how to avoid those mistakes and focus on the frameworks that actually grow a business.
